New Program, Shirts, and Gratitude

Autumn greetings,

Thank YOU so much to all of those that attended our get together on Saturday, September 24th. We had so much fun sharing our mission and connecting with you all. Mike is still coming down from the Bingo excitement. We appreciate all your support and are excited to update you on what we have been up to as of late.

New Program: In September we started our newest yoga program with the Juvenile Detention Center in Ramsey County. Our program is six weeks with the same group of participants. This week, we handed out certificates to our first completers of the program! We are proud of the progress of these participants and thankful for their participation, connection and curiosity. We look forward to sharing results from participant surveys soon.

Community Meditation: Tuesdays at noon and Saturdays at 8:30am we are back hosting free virtual Community Meditation. Join us on Zoom for a facilitated meditation or mindfulness exercise and community conversation to follow. Sessions are about 15-20 minutes. All are welcome to join, no experience required. We want to introduce you to, help continue your practice, and spread mindfulness and meditation within a lowkey and comfortable setting. More information here: https://www.karunacmn.org/community-meditation

Shirts: We have merch! Check out our merch page to purchase one! https://www.karunacmn.org/merch

Give to the Max Day is November 17. Please DONATE and support our mission and work! If you would like to donate new or gently used yoga mats that will be given to our program participants please contact Lauren: lauren.kvasnicka@karunacmn.org

Thank you for your continued support,

Lauren Kvasnicka and the Karuna Team
