Lauren Kvasnicka [he/him]
Executive Director & Facilitator

Lauren, MPH, RYT, is a lifelong student of yoga, public health, and social justice—and the powerful intersection of all three. She holds a Master of Public Health in Community Health Promotion, is a Registered Yoga Teacher, and carries certifications in Somatic Embodiment, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and group fitness. She is committed to using yoga and mindfulness to foster healthier, more just, and sustainable communities, with a focus on those historically underresourced.

Grounded in both research and lived experience, Lauren weaves science, storytelling, and practice to expand access to yoga and mindfulness. She began as a volunteer, became the organization’s first employee, and now serves as Executive Director. You’ll find her building partnerships, championing the mission in the community, and facilitating programs and meditation sessions.

Her professional interests include nutrition, plant-based diets, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, and senior wellness. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys live music, time outdoors, reading essays, cooking, and snuggling with her cat, Diego.
